Meet Our Principals

Sam Gridley majored in Management Information Systems and minored in Computer Science at Eastern Washington University. He started programming his first personal computer in 1981 and what started as a hobby turned into a college major then eventually a career. Sam worked as an IT Director for Hyatt hotels, managing hotel networks and involved in building of one of the first IP WANs in a Hawaii hotel. He left the hotel industry to run Intech and 15 years later Intech is ranked as one of the top systems integrators in Hawaii, enjoying a growth rate of over 20% annually. Today Sam manages the company operations, including marketing and administration, but still gets out in the field from time to time to keep his skills sharp.

Paul Ventura holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Villanova University. He began his management career with Hyatt hotels and is a graduate of their Management Training program. Paul spent several years as a department head in the hotel industry before joining Intech as VP. He joined Intech in 1998 and quickly completed a number of industry certification programs. Today he is responsible for systems planning, installation and management of computer networks for Intech’s clients. He also maintains day-to-day business operations and customer relations for the fast growing company.
