Kobayashi, Sugita and Goda specializes in complex litigation and corporate business relations with an emphasis in commercial and construction issues, representation in finance, transactions, banking, general corporate, regulatory, land use, labor management, wrongful termination, immigration and associated fields. The firm has 80 PCs and 20 servers. The law firm relies heavily on information technology to serve their clients and provide their high standard of legal services. When faced with major technology problems and internal IT turnover, the firm was referred to Intech.
Challenge
The law firm had an increasingly complex network that had been built over time and was experiencing frequent reliability issues. Compounding the challenge, the firm lost their internal IT manager while trying to get control of the network and computer systems. Time is money in a law firm and every minute of system down time is very expensive, stability and failover protection had to be achieved.
Intech’s Approach
Intech was brought in to fill the gap of the internal IT manager. During this time, Intech reviewed, standardized, stabilized and documented the firm’s network and systems architecture. All servers were setup with a failover data center. Once stabilized, Intech deployed it’s Worry-Free IT service which provides preventative maintenance and monitoring, along with remote systems management and end user support. In addition, Intech assisted the firm in their search and placement of a new IT Manager. Intech helped to establish search criteria and screened applicants for technical knowledge.
