Office Pavilion is a Herman Miller furniture dealership serving Hawaii and the Pacific Rim. They have 25 users in 2 locations in Honolulu plus remote staff in Japan and Korea. Challenge
Office Pavilion had one in-house IT Coordinator to take care of all computer and telephony issues including ordering toner for printers/copiers to installing speakers. After the IT Coordinator resigned to move back to the mainland, Intech was brought in. “We had experiences in the past . . . that left a bad taste in our mouths with regard to outsourcing the IT piece. We were impressed with [Intech's] knowledge and presentation when we first met with them. It is pretty unusual for one IT Coordinator (in-house) to know everything about everything that comes up. There was a lot of time being wasted researching how to do things instead of just getting them done,” said Eileen
